The milk and dairy products of TerraΤhessalia are produced by holdings which herds:
-Graze in natural pastures and grasslands, ensuring in this way animal welfare and milk quality. Of particular value is spring milk. In spring the rich blossoming of the Greek countryside flora gives, between April and June, aromas to the milk rendering it rich in proteins.
-Secure their supplementary diet especially during winter, from animal feed produced in short distance from the holding, ensuring low environmental footprint.
-Are moving throughout the year between Thessaly's lowland and mountainous areas.
